About The Role

  • Review daily deliveries to ensure accurate pricing and quantity of goods
  • Collate all purchase invoices for processing and ensure upload to the accounts package.
  • Posting and allocating adhoc payments to the purchase ledger
  • Ensure the PO process is used effectively
  • Liaise with new suppliers to set up trade credit accounts and negotiate prices where applicable
  • Reconciliation of purchase ledger against supplier statements, matching all dispatch notes and purchases order to the invoices and purchase order schedule.
  • Setting up of adhoc payment on the bank system.
  • Assisting with producing a twice-monthly payment run.
  • Any other reasonable request as required from time to time.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Organised self-starter with ability to plan and prioritise.
  • Sound IT skills including producing reports
  • Good communication skills dealing with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Previous experience of purchase ledger preferred

We understand hospitality can involve anti–social hours. All contracted staff who earn less than £35,000 full time annual salary, working Sunday – Thursday from 7pm – 5am, Saturday and Sunday from 5am – 7pm and Friday and Saturday evening from 7pm – 5am can potentially earn an extra £3 per hour!

We also pay a starting salary of £10.50 for contracted staff which is above the National Living Wage.Plus, we recognise everyone plays their part to provide amazing service. That is why, on top of your salary you can earn up to £1,000 service charge per quarter (based on eligibility)
