About The Role

To be responsible for individual and group transient reservations at Rudding Park, including bookings for the Hotel, Restaurants, Holiday Park, Spa and Golf, concentrating on maximising revenue for all areas through upselling and cross selling. To achieve and exceed all set service level agreements, key performance indicators and guest expectations

  • Ensure all booking details are correctly completed for rooms, golf, holiday park, spa and restaurants including but not exclusive to, profiles, market segment, source of enquiry, rates and payments
  • Handle and convert telephone and email enquiries to exceed service level agreements
  • Maximise occupancy and revenue for all revenue streams by upselling and cross selling in line with pricing strategies so to exceed key performance drivers i.e. average room rate, occupancy, yield, treatment room occupancy
  • Demonstrate high quality guest care to exceed service requirements
  • Assist with the daily running of the Destination Experience Team to ensure all work is completed within agreed service level agreements
  • Assist with correspondence checks, to ensure all arrival details are correct and bookings are guaranteed
  • Ensure booking confirmations are issued within the agreed service level agreement
  • Ensure the office is always kept clean and tidy
  • To attend all meetings and training sessions when requested
  • Any other duties as requested by the Destination Experience Manager, Assistant and Team Leaders

  • Great guest rapport, and excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • 1-2 years’ experience in the hospitality and tourism industry

We understand hospitality can involve anti–social hours. All contracted staff who earn less than £35,000 full time annual salary, working Sunday – Thursday from 7pm – 5am, Saturday and Sunday from 5am – 7pm and Friday and Saturday evening from 7pm – 5am can potentially earn an extra £3 per hour!

Plus, we recognise everyone plays their part to provide amazing service. That is why, on top of your salary you can earn up to £1,000 service charge per quarter (based on eligibility)
