Harrogate in the Sunshine 666 x 322

Happy in Harrogate

Last month Harrogate was voted the happiest place to live in Britain according to Rightmove’s Happy at Home Index. But why are the Rudding Park Team so happy to be in Harrogate?

Carol Shaw our HR Manager says it’s the space. “Rudding Park is surrounded by the picturesque Yorkshire countryside and Fountains Abbey, RHS Harlow Carr and Brimham Rocks are close by. I love to walk from Fountains Abbey through the bluebell carpeted woodland to the water gardens. ”

Jennifer Hirst our PR and Communications Executive says it’s the culture and history. “The Royal Hall, Harrogate Theatre and the Harrogate International Centre are amazing venues. I am looking forward to seeing the John Wilson Orchestra at the Royal Hall this year. A world class orchestra in a world class theatre and I’m sure we will be popping for tea at Bettys before the concert.”

James King our Golf Manager says it’s the family activities. “Mother Shipton’s Cave, Log Heights Tree Top Adventure and Stockeld Park’s seasonal family adventures make great days out and having the Valley Gardens and The Stray so close to the town centre I can entertain the children while my wife has a look around Montpellier’s boutiques.”

But most importantly it’s the welcome! We are proud and passionate about Harrogate and take care of everyone who comes to visit.
