Repton Short Course
Consisting of six par three holes constructed to USGA standard, the Repton Short Course is the first of its kind in the North of England.
A fast running stream runs over weirs and through the course, providing not only a golfing challenge but also a visual pleasure. Offering golf in an hour, the course is equally popular with busy professionals and scratch golfers as well as retired couples and novices.
The six holes each offer a different challenge, from mature woodland to streams and the famous island hole.
Signature Hole- Repton Course – 5th
The 5th hole on the Repton Course provides a true-to-life replica of the world-famous 17th at Sawgrass, playing the same yardage as the renowned Florida hole (137 yards). The daunting tee shot which plays to an undulating green puts emphasis on club selection.
The green is swivelled around to provide a longer and deeper putting surface, which seems to be an easy target, however when the prevailing wind is a factor avoiding the water is no easy feat.
