RUDDING PARK’S NEW FACILITIES – KEEP UP WITH OUR PROGRESS

Building works are well underway to create a major extension for the hotel. This exciting development which will open in December, will include 48 fantastic new bedrooms, a mini spa and a private cinema.

The new bedrooms will be at least 20 per cent larger than our current rooms, with views over the mature gardens. Many will also have private terraces or balconies and some will even have private steam rooms or saunas.

The final hotel size will be 84 bedrooms, as some of the existing bedrooms will become staff areas. It is felt that this is the optimum number at which excellent standards of service can be maintained.

In addition to the new bedrooms we will have a small spa consisting of three treatment rooms, a hammam and steam room. There will also be a gym with cardiovascular and strength equipment.

Yorkshire based contractors, RN Wooler & Co Ltd, began the construction of the extension in November 2009 under the guidance of Leeds based DLG architects.
