About The role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and exceptional Food and Beverage Host to join our experienced hospitality team

Our Host’s provide a consistent high level of service to our guests with a relaxed and professional approach

The role involves welcoming guests to the restaurant and showing them to their table. You will be responsible for the appropriate assigning of seating

The role will include supporting with many types of events within the Food and Beverage department including Weddings, Parties and large corporate events, as well as restaurant dining

Previous work experience as a Host/Hostess or Waiter/Waitress and an understanding of restaurant etiquette will be an advantage

The Ideal Candidate

  • Strong organisational skills and be experienced in managing reservations
  • Experience of working to deadlines and demonstrate being able to get the job done through leadership and delegation
  • Previous supervisory experience within a 4 star hotel environment or luxury event brand
  • Food and Beverage knowledge is an advantage
  • Confident, reliable and able to work under pressure in a busy environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Committed to working 42.5 hours per week, on a rota basis, including shift work, weekends and evenings

We understand hospitality can involve anti–social hours. All contracted staff who earn less than £35,000 full time annual salary, working Sunday – Thursday from 7pm – 5am, Saturday and Sunday from 5am – 7pm and Friday and Saturday evening from 7pm – 5am can potentially earn an extra £3 per hour!

We also pay a starting salary of £9.70 for contracted staff which is above the National Living Wage.

Plus, we recognise everyone plays their part to provide amazing service. That is why, on top of your salary you can earn up to £1,000 service charge per quarter (based on eligibility)
