About Horto Restaurant A food adventure
Contemporary Fine Dining
Experience contemporary fine dining at 3 AA Rosette Horto Restaurant. No starters, no mains, no puddings - simply choose a selection of dishes for yourself or to share.
Latin for kitchen garden, Horto Restaurant uses seasonal ingredients from Rudding Park Kitchen Garden. The menu is dictated by nature, the skill of the Gardener and the flair of the Chef.
The Kitchen Garden is such an integral part of the restaurant's ethos, we were delighted the MICHELIN GUIDE recently awarded Horto with a Michelin Green Initiative. This new distinction recognises establishments for the focus placed on the origin of the products, the respect of seasonality in the plates through to the balance of the menu. It also acknowledges the management of waste or the resources of the establishment and the capacity of the chef to make guests and teams aware of this sustainable approach.
Whilst Horto is temporarily closed due to lockdown, it is usually open for dinner, Wednesday to Sunday (7pm with last orders 8pm)
Pre-booking essential and we ask that you let us know of any dietary requirements at the time of booking.
We look forward to welcoming guests to dine at Horto, however, please be aware we have reduced capacities for non-residents at the moment, so availability may be limited. Children are welcome to visit and dine from the Horto menu. Alternatively, a children’s menu is available at Clocktower.

Horto Restaurant - Best Fine Dining Restaurant, Yorkshire Evening Post Oliver Awards 2018
Elaine Lemm, Restaurant Critic at the Yorkshire Post writes "The magic is still here...The secret weapon behind this fabulous food is chef Callum Bowmer and a brigade, none of whom are over 26 years old. That is a staggering amount of talent at such young ages"
