Edible flowers, fruit herbs and salads

Guests are encouraged to explore the garden, which was designed by Matthew Wilson (former Head of Site and Curator at RHS Harlow Carr, panellist on Radio 4’s Gardeners Question Time and presenter of Channel 4 series ‘Landscape Man’).

There are 52 raised beds made from English Oak trees grown in the grounds at Rudding Park. Covering 1320 square metres, the garden has an array of produce with a large number of quality heritage varieties that are usually hard to find. Over 500 different herbs, salads, edible flowers and fruits are grown by Kitchen Gardener, Emma Pugh, to offer guests something different when they dine at Rudding Park.
