RATE TERMS & CONDITIONS
Best Available Rates: Payment for the full amount of the booking is taken prior to arrival. In the event of cancellation, a 100% refund will apply when a cancellation takes place 7 days or more prior to arrival. Should your booking be cancelled less than 7 days prior to arrival no refunds will be made. Please see Offer T&Cs for Advance Purchase terms.
In the event of a change of stay a fee of £50 per room would be applicable when amending the date outside of the cancellation policy. A change of date within the cancellation policy would be considered cancellation and full charges would apply.
Best Available Experiences (1 – 6 guests): Payment for the full amount of the booking is taken prior to arrival. In the event of a change of visit, a fee of £25 per experience would be applicable when amending the date of the experience outside of the cancellation policy. A change of date within the cancellation policy would be considered cancellation and full charges would apply.
For 7 – 10 guests our Cabana Experiences do require full prepayment and a contract is required for bookings over £1,500.
We are only able to accept a maximum of 10 guests visiting the Spa together.
A 50% deposit is taken within 48 hours of the time of booking with the outstanding balance due no later than six weeks prior to arrival. The card on file will automatically be charged at this time. Bookings made within six weeks of arrival dates will be charged in full at the time of booking. Should your booking be cancelled less than six weeks prior to arrival, no refunds will be made.
Should the balance payment not be received by the date due, Rudding Park reserves the right to resell the lodge.
A charge of £50 will be made for the loss of property keys.

All offers are subject to availability and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. Terms and conditions are subject to change. All offers are correct at time of publication, refer to the current rates valid and are for new bookings only. Pre-booking is essential. Offers cannot be applied to gift vouchers or special/public events unless otherwise stated.
In addition, the following apply:
Accommodation Offers: All dates offered are subject to availability and can change on a daily basis. Offers will be based on double or twin occupancy in a Ribston Wing Room unless otherwise stated. Bookings can only be made directly with the hotel unless otherwise stated. The offer rate quoted is an advance purchase rate and is paid in full at time of booking. No refunds, changes or transfers will be made. Any offer including dinner is based on a £52 food allowance per adult, unless otherwise stated.
Non Residential Clocktower and Horto Offers: Apply to non residents only. Offers relate to food only and for guests choosing three or more courses unless otherwise stated. Dinner reservations start from 7pm.
Non Residential Golf Offers: Tee times must be booked in advance unless otherwise stated.
Full terms and conditions for Conferences, Private Events and Weddings can be discussed with your Event Co-ordinator and issued on confirmation of the event.

Full pre-payment required at the time of booking and bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Pre-orders may be required fourteen days prior to the event. You will receive an email four weeks prior to the date of your event to confirm menu choices, drinks and dietaries. This must be returned within 2 weeks.
Most dishes can be adapted for special dietary requirements. Allergen information relating to all our dishes is available however please note that although your meal is prepared with care, due to the handling of allergens in our kitchens we cannot guarantee that it will be allergen free, even after requests to remove ingredients. The nature of some of our ingredients means that some dishes may contain bones, shot or shell.
VAT will be charged at the prevailing rate. This applies to all food, non-alcoholic beverage including – Golf, Spa, Holiday Park, House, Clocktower and Horto and accommodation – Bedrooms, and Luxury Lodges.
Please be aware, Rudding Park is a cashless venue and only accepts card payments.
Rudding Park Hotel requires ‘all’ guests to provide a valid credit or debit card on check- in. This should be the card used to pay for accommodation. The hotel will pre-authorise your card for any additional charges which you may incur during your stay with us.
A ‘pre-authorisation’ is not a charge. The guests’ issuing bank/credit card company holds the pre-authorised amount temporarily from the available balance of the card holder’s account for the hotel to use.
Pre-authorisation is a common process followed within hotels in the UK at check-in. The way it works is that a pre-authorisation request is made by the hotel’s card terminal to the card holders’ bank, your bank/credit card company authorises the funds and sends an authorisation code to the hotel. This confirms the availability of the requested funds in the card holder’s account to cover charges in the hotel (if any).
This authorisation code is expected to be used when the transaction is about to complete (that is on check-out). If the authorisation code given by your bank/credit card company is not used by the hotel, this means that your account had no incidental charges during the stay OR the hotel has secured funds through other means (another card) and has had no need to use those blocked funds OR does not wish to proceed with the transaction due to other reasons.
If on check out, a guest decides to pay with an alternative credit/debit card to the one provided on arrival; the amount taken from the first credit/debit card normally takes 5-7 working days to be released back to your card by your own issuing bank or credit card company. Some issuing banks and building societies may take longer specially for cards issued outside of the United Kingdom.
If you have any queries or problems regarding the pre-authorisation after check out please contact your issuing bank/credit card company. Rudding Park hotel accepts no responsibility for any bank or credit card charges should your account become overdrawn as a result of this.
Optional Service Charge
OPTIONAL SERVICE CHARGE
What is the ‘optional service charge’ on my bill?
This is a payment which recognises and rewards all employees who deliver outstanding guest service. The charge is 3% on accommodation (referred to as a resort fee charge), 10% on food and drink and £5 for each spa treatment.
Can it be removed from my bill?
Of course. We will remove it immediately.
Why have you introduced this optional service
We believe the whole team, regardless of their role, are involved in delivering outstanding guest service so it is fair to reward everyone.
Who receives the optional service?
All members of the Rudding Park team.
The term " Rudding Park Ltd" or "us" or "we" refers to the owner of the website whose registered office is Rudding Park, Follifoot, Harrogate HG3 1JH. The term "you" refers to the user or viewer of our website.
