Spa Membership

Spa Membership

Upon successful application, spa membership will start from the date agreed and confirmed in writing. You will be entitled to all rights and privileges designated by your membership category and issued a personal key providing spa access and the facility to charge items to your account. Terms and conditions are subject to change at management's discretion.

MEMBERSHIP

You must be at least 18 years of age to be a spa member. The minimum membership term is 12 months. Joint membership is for two people based at the same postal address. As a member you agree to comply with the rules of membership displayed in The Spa, relating to opening hours, use of facilities and the conduct of you and your guests. All membership benefits are valid throughout the membership period and are non-transferable. The value of any benefits used may be recovered upon cancellation prior to the end of the membership term. Membership category changes are subject to availability and must be submitted in writing to membership@ruddingpark.com.

FEES

You may freeze your membership for medical reasons for up to three months, subject to management discretion. Written support from a medical professional is required and the freeze period may not be less than 30 days. There will be a minimum annual inflationary increase, communicated in writing with at least 60 days' notice. You may terminate your membership if you do not agree to the changes, giving 28 days' written notice. Both parties of a joint membership are jointly and individually responsible for the contract value. If any part of the monthly subscription remains unpaid after the due date, your membership will be cancelled and outstanding monies recovered. In the event of defaulted payments, Rudding Park may disclose personal details to a credit reference agency.

CANCELLATION

Rudding Park may cancel membership in the event of a serious breach of the membership agreement. You may terminate your membership after the minimum 12-month term, giving 28 days' written notice. The joining fee is non-refundable. Should membership be reinstated at a later date, the joining fee will become payable again.

MEMBER BENEFITS

Member discounts may not be used on guests' treatments or retail purchases. All guests must be accompanied by the member at all times when using a complimentary or chargeable guest pass. All benefits and discounts are subject to terms which may change at management's discretion. Membership must be live and payments up to date at the point of benefits being issued.

MEMBER GUESTS

Members may bring guests to The Spa for £50 per person. The guest registration form must be completed per individual and payment made on each visit. The maximum group size per membership must not exceed five, inclusive of the member. Guest passes are based on four-hour access. Members must be present with guests at all times.

ROOF TOP SPA GARDEN

In the event of extreme weather it may be necessary to close the Roof Top Spa Garden and hydrotherapy pool for the health and safety of members and guests. Only food and drink served by Rudding Park may be consumed in The Spa.

INDOOR SWIMMING POOL & HYDROTHERAPY POOL

The swimming pool and hydrotherapy pool are unsupervised — members are advised to exercise caution and swim at their own risk. Guests under 16 may use the indoor swimming pool at designated splash times when accompanied by an adult. Those under 16 are not permitted to use thermal experiences or the hydrotherapy pool. Children's swimming sessions are chargeable at £10 per child and are available between 9:30–10:30am and 4–5pm daily. Only plastic cups may be taken poolside or into wet areas. Babies must wear suitable swimming nappies.

GYM & STUDIO

All members must complete a PARQ prior to using the gym or attending fitness classes. The studio class timetable is subject to change. External personal trainers may only be brought to the facility with prior written consent from management, subject to payment of associated charges and submission of appropriate documentation to the Head of Spa. Unauthorised external personal trainers are strictly prohibited.

HOURS OF OPENING

Normal hours of operation are advertised within The Spa. Hours may change at management's discretion with reasonable notice where possible. Last entry to The Spa is 45 minutes before closing.

MOBILE PHONES & DEVICES

Please turn mobile phones and devices to silent when entering The Spa. Mobile devices and cameras may not be used in changing rooms under any circumstances. We ask all members and guests to respect the privacy of others.

SMOKING

Smoking, including e-cigarettes, is only permitted in the designated smoking area. Smoking is not permitted at the Spa entrance, swimming pool, restaurant terraces or on the Roof Top Spa Garden.

HEALTH & SAFETY

All members and guests must follow the health and safety rules for all facilities. Those suffering from cardiopathy, internal inflammation, infectious diseases, epilepsy or who have a pacemaker are advised not to use the sauna or thermal experiences. Thermal experiences should not be used under the influence of drugs or excess alcohol, or during pregnancy. Rudding Park reserves the right to refuse admission to anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Only Guide or Alert dogs are permitted inside The Spa. Rudding Park is not responsible for personal injury, illness or death arising from participation in physical activity. We recommend consulting a GP prior to physical exercise.

DRESS CODE

Swimwear must be worn within The Spa at all times. Robes are provided where required. Sportswear and robes may be worn in Horto restaurant until 6pm.

LOCKERS & VALUABLES

Lockers are provided for use during your visit and may not be kept for personal use. Property left overnight will be removed and kept in lost property for 30 days. All valuables are left at the owner's risk.

LOSS OF PROPERTY & PERSONAL INJURY

Members and their guests assume sole responsibility for their property. Rudding Park shall not be responsible for any loss or damage to private property used or stored at Rudding Park. Each member shall be liable for any property damage or personal injury caused by them or their guests.

CCTV

CCTV is in operation in the public areas of The Spa for safety and security purposes. Only Rudding Park has viewing access to any recordings.

MAINTENANCE

Rudding Park reserves the right to withdraw facilities for essential maintenance work without notice or compensation.

DATA PROTECTION

We take the privacy of our members seriously. We collect personal information through your membership application and use of our facilities, which may include information relating to your physical health. We use this to provide and personalise our membership services and may contact you from time to time about related services. Golf Membership

The minimum membership term is 12 months. A £350 joining fee is payable on all memberships that include the Hawtree 18-hole course. Joint membership is for two people based at the same postal address. As a member you agree to comply with the rules and regulations of your membership. All membership benefits are valid throughout the membership period, subject to change at management's discretion, and are non-transferable. The value of benefits used may be recovered upon cancellation prior to the end of the membership term. Members may charge items to their account, payable by monthly direct debit or when the account reaches £1,000, whichever is sooner.

Golf shirts designed to be worn without collars are also permitted. Shirts should be tucked in at all times unless designed to be worn outside. Ladies may wear sleeveless shirts with collars or collarless shirts with sleeves, tailored cropped trousers and skirts. Trousers and shorts of any length must be tailored — no denim. Golf shoes with soft spikes or studs must be worn on the course. The following may not be worn: football, hockey or rugby-type shirts and shorts, singlets, tracksuits, leisure or shell suits, combat or cargo-style shorts or trousers, sandals or flip flops. Management and staff are authorised to enforce the dress code at all times.

MAILING ADDRESSES

Rudding Park must be notified in writing of any changes of address. Members may not use the Rudding Park address for personal or business use.

LOSS OF PROPERTY & PERSONAL INJURY

Members and their guests assume sole responsibility for their property. Rudding Park shall not be responsible for any loss or damage to private property used or stored at Rudding Park. Property left on the facilities for six months or more without payment of storage may be sold or disposed of, with any proceeds donated to a Rudding Park designated charity. No person shall remove any property belonging to Rudding Park without written authorisation. Each member shall be liable for any property damage or personal injury caused by them or their guests. CCTV is in use and operation throughout the Rudding Park resort.

GUEST PRIVILEGES

Guest rates, rules and regulations are subject to change at management's discretion. Rudding Park reserves the right to limit the number of guests accompanying a member on any given day. Members' guests must be registered upon arrival and members will be charged the appropriate fees. A member may bring the same named guest no more than five times per year. The member is responsible for all charges and conduct of their guests. Guest privileges may be denied, withdrawn or revoked at any time at the sole discretion of Rudding Park.

OPERATIONAL RULES

Members and their guests shall abide by all rules and regulations as amended from time to time. Alcoholic beverages will not be served to anyone not permitted to purchase under the law. Outside catering is not permitted — Rudding Park must supply all food and beverages consumed on the premises unless otherwise agreed. Commercial advertisements may not be displayed or circulated at Rudding Park without prior approval. All children under 14 must be either playing the course or accompanied by an adult. Children must have a tee time booked before being dropped off and an agreed collection time. Rudding Park will not accept responsibility for unsupervised children. All feedback relating to operations or employees must be in writing, signed and addressed to management. Members and their guests should park in the parking area provided. The Clubhouse is a no smoking area — smoking is permitted on the terrace only. No member, guest or visitor is permitted in service or restricted areas. Use of facilities may be restricted or reserved from time to time and notice will be communicated to members. Violation of these rules may result in disciplinary action, suspension or expulsion.

HOURS OF OPERATION

All tee reservations are made via the BRS booking portal. No golfer may commence play without a tee reservation on either the Hawtree or Repton Short Course. No golfer should commence play before the first tee time of the day or after the last tee time of the day.

MAINTENANCE

Rudding Park reserves the right to withdraw facilities for essential maintenance work without notice or compensation. Rudding Park reserves the right to close courses in the event of adverse weather conditions. Wherever possible, closure announcements will be made in advance through BRS.

Rudding Friends

Rudding Friends

Upon successful application, your Rudding Friends membership will commence on the date confirmed in writing. You will be entitled to all rights and privileges associated with your membership and issued a digital member card to access your discounts.

MEMBERSHIP

Rudding Friends is a social membership providing access to resort grounds, member events, offers and discounts as outlined in the membership overview. Membership is available to individuals aged 18 and over. Membership is personal and non-transferable.

FEES

Membership is charged at a set monthly rate via direct debit. There is no joining fee. Membership is offered on a minimum 12-month term. After 12 months, membership continues monthly until cancelled with at least one month's written notice. Fees may be subject to annual adjustment with a minimum of 60 days' notice. You may terminate your membership if you do not agree to the new rate. All payments are inclusive of applicable taxes. Your monthly direct debit amount may vary depending on your account balance, which will be provided at least five days before collection.

CANCELLATION

Membership may be cancelled after the initial 12-month period by providing one month's written notice. Rudding Park reserves the right to terminate membership immediately in the event of non-payment, breach of these terms, or behaviour deemed inappropriate, unsafe or damaging to the resort or its members.

PAYMENTS & REFUNDS

Membership fees are non-refundable except in the case of overpayment or administrative error. Members are responsible for ensuring sufficient funds are available for direct debit collection.

UPGRADES

Members may upgrade to a Full Spa, Golf or Resort membership at any time, subject to availability. Members who have held their Rudding Friends membership for six months will receive 50% off the applicable joining fee. If an upgrade is requested before the six-month point, the member will be required to pay the remaining balance to reach six months, after which the discount will be applied.

BENEFITS

Membership benefits are subject to availability and may change at Rudding Park's discretion. Rudding Park reserves the right to amend these terms with 30 days' notice to members.

Golf shoes with soft spikes or studs must be worn on the course. The following may not be worn: football, hockey or rugby-type shirts and shorts, singlets, tracksuits, leisure or shell suits, combat or cargo-style shorts or trousers, sandals or flip flops. Management and staff are authorised to enforce the dress code at all times.

Corporate Golf Membership

Corporate Golf Membership

Upon successful application, golf membership will commence from the date agreed and confirmed in writing. You will be entitled to all rights and privileges designated by your membership category. Terms and conditions are subject to change at management's discretion.

MEMBERSHIP

This membership is available to corporate and charity businesses only. The minimum membership term is 12 months. A £250 joining fee is payable on all memberships that include the Hawtree 18-hole course. The account holder must be employed by the business and all details, including payment, must be held under the business name. All membership benefits are valid throughout the membership period, subject to change at management's discretion, and are non-transferable. The value of benefits used may be recovered upon cancellation prior to the end of the membership term. Credits are non-transferable into the following membership year — additional credits can be purchased upon request. Discounts included in this membership cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount or offer. Members may charge items to their business account, payable by monthly direct debit.

FEES

Corporate memberships cannot be frozen and the minimum commitment is 12 months. There will be a minimum annual inflationary increase, communicated in writing with at least 50 days' notice. You may terminate your membership if you do not agree to the changes — this must be done in writing and your membership will end in line with our golfing year. The account holder is responsible for ensuring all monies due are paid in a timely manner. If any part of the monthly subscription remains unpaid after the due date, a late payment fee of £25 will be charged for each missed payment. Continued failure to pay will result in membership cancellation and recovery of all outstanding monies. In the event of defaulted payments, Rudding Park may disclose personal details to a credit reference agency.
