Your three night escape thoughtfully curated

Rediscover a sense of balance through days immersed in nature, spa experiences and exceptional dining

DAY ONE

Your stay begins the moment you step through the door with...

A long afternoon on the Clocktower Terrace - why wait until your room is ready? Take a leisurely start to your stay with a seat on the terrace or deckchair on the lawn with a refreshing Spritz and hand-stretched-wood-fired pizza. When you're ready, our garden pathways are ready to explore at your own pace.

After 3pm, check into your Spa Room - your own private sanctuary, with steam room, sauna or spa bath.

Afternoon on the Roof Top Spa - this is what you came for. Fed by our own private aquifer, the water in the spa is naturally rich in magnesium, calcium and sodium — free from chemicals. Take your time in the hydrotherapy infinity pool, work through the saunas and steam rooms, and — if you haven't pre-booked already — the Woodland Spring Bathing tubs are waiting in woodland. Private, chemical-free and entirely still.

Dinner at Clocktower Brasserie is a relaxed, unhurried evening to finish your first day. Think dishes from our All Day Dining menu before heading back to your Spa Room to take in the views from your private garden terrace before a relaxing bath, private sauna or steam.

DAY TWO

Breakfast
at Horto - wake up to fresh juices and floor-to-ceiling views over the south-facing terrace.

Start your morning with a self-guided yoga session in the residents' gym, followed by a short walk through the grounds to clear the mind. Then, back to the spa — this time with a signature couples' treatment. After any of our treatments, the Escape Zone is yours: four multi-sensory relaxation rooms, each one quieter and more restorative than the last.

In the afternoon, choose between our favourite activities:

  • Take a countryside walk our grounds and surrounding paths offer quiet routes to explore nature
  • Perfect your swing At the TrackMan Driving Range, 6- hole Repton Short Course or 18- hole Hawtree Course
  • Explore Harrogate and the Royal Pump Room Museum this is where the Harrogate's wellbeing story began. Built in 1842 over the strongest sulphur wells in Europe, it welcomed 15,000 visitors every summer at its peak, all coming to 'take the waters' in search of restoration. The Valley Gardens are opposite for a quiet walk afterwards.

Dinner Head back to Horto for the 'By Night' menu inspired by the Mediterranean table — think colourful vegetables, grilled seafood, handmade pasta and carefully sourced meats. Then, make the most of your Spa Room with Super King size bed, private garden and ensuite steam room, sauna or spa bath.

DAY THREE

Breakfast
in the Clocktower Conservatory is a sunlit, unhurried start to a restorative day. Then, a walk through the resort through the Kitchen Garden, past the Nuttery and our gardens beyond.

Mornings on the Roof Top Spa offer a perfect opportunity to try something different - if you book a Spa Room, discover complimentary access to the Roof Top Spa included as part of your stay.

  • Aufguss: Our Sauna Master combines essential oils, ice and a rather theatrical towel-twirling technique. Complimentary sessions run daily.
  • Contrast therapy:

Lunch — Horto By Day
Light, seasonal and exactly right for where you are in the stay.
Afternoon — Mud Rasul & Roof Top Spa
The Mud Rasul is one of those experiences that sounds indulgent and turns out to be genuinely restorative — a shared ritual of mineral-rich mud and steam that leaves you feeling properly refreshed. Afterwards, find a spot in the Roof Top Spa garden and let the afternoon go. Read, rest, do nothing in particular. The infinity pool is there when you want it.
Dinner — FIFTY TWO
The evening's highlight — and the stay's. Before you sit down, take a quiet moment in the Kitchen Garden just outside the window. This is where the menu begins: no printed choices, just whatever the season has decided is ready. Twenty covers, considered from start to finish. Food theatre at its most brilliant — snacks, freshly baked bread, a sequence of plates building to the main event, then dessert and a selection of liqueurs.
Walk back through the grounds afterwards. The evening air, the quiet of the gardens — a perfect way to close the day.
