How to Find Us

Please click for directions to Rudding Park or use HG3 1JH in Google Maps

On Arrival

We ask that you check-in at least 20 minutes before your tee time.

If playing the 18-hole Hawtree Course
Check-in at the Pro Shop at the Clubhouse

If playing the Repton Short Course before the Hawtree Course
Check in at the Golf Academy

The Golf Academy also offers practice facilities including a 34-bay Trackman driving range, short game area and putting green. The Academy is just a short walk from the Clubhouse, where additional short game practice facilities can be found.

Our teams can give you advice on both courses, show you the practice facilities and direct you to the first tee.

Buggies/Trolleys

Our buggies and electric trolleys can be in high demand during the peak season.
Please reserve them with your Golf Co-ordinator prior to your visit, particularly if it is a requirement for your round. They are payable on the day.

Our fleet includes:
20 buggies
6 electric trolleys
20 pull trolleys

Visitor Locker Rooms

Gents and Ladies visitor locker rooms are located at the Clubhouse.
They both provide showers, towels, day lockers and changing facilities.

Bad Weather & Winter Guidelines

In foggy or misty conditions, never play the ball beyond what you can see.

In the event of lightning, golfers should return to the Clubhouse immediately and avoid taking shelter under trees. Always obey the sound of the air-horn during thundery conditions and stop play immediately.

Please note during the winter months, we do not require trolleys to have winter wheels. Summer wheels are permitted.

The use of winter mats is optional, however members and visitors are encouraged to do so to help protect the fairways and maintain the best possible playing surfaces through the colder, wetter months. Mats are available to borrow from the Clubhouse.

Occasionally, only carry bags are permitted. To avoid any inconvenience, please contact the golf team at [add telephone number] to confirm if trolleys are allowed on the day of your visit.

Get Ready to Play

Appropriate golf attire must be worn on the Hawtree course. Players are expected to wear collared polo shirts or smart golf tops, paired with tailored trousers, chinos, or golf shorts of an appropriate length. Women may also choose to wear golf skirts or skorts. All shirts and tops must be tucked in. Golf shoes with soft spikes or spikeless soles are required.

Denim, cargo shorts, t-shirts and trainers are not considered appropriate golf attire. Headgear should be worn with the peak facing forward while on the course.

Every player is required to have their own set of golf clubs.

The golf team has the authority to address any person who is improperly or inappropriately dressed. However, we hope and expect all visitors to respect the dress code and show consideration for fellow players, so everyone can enjoy both their golf and social time. The same principle applies to inappropriate behaviour.

Time to Play

Please arrive at the first tee at least 10 minutes before your tee time.

A standard four-ball on the Hawtree course should take no more than 4.5 hours.

Please stay mindful of your position on the course and keep pace with the group ahead, rather than just staying ahead of the group behind you. Slow play creates unnecessary delays and frustration for everyone on the course. If you lose a hole’s distance, please invite the group behind you to play through.

As on every golf course, please repair pitch marks on the greens, replace or fill divots on the fairways, rake bunkers after use, and leave the rakes inside the hazard.

The Halfway House is located between the 8th green and the 9th tee. It sells a variety of hot and cold drinks and sandwiches. Please confirm with the Clubhouse team whether the Halfway House is open before you tee off.

After your Round

For those who have reserved a meal after playing on the Hawtree, the golf team will have your food ready at your requested time.

If you haven’t pre-booked a meal, a great selection is available from the Clubhouse.

Health & Safety

Ensuring the health and safety of our members and visitors is our priority, and we are committed to continuously improving our safety measures.

And remember ….

We want you and your guests to have a wonderful day at Rudding Park. If you have any questions before your visit, please contact your Golf Co-ordinator.

On the day itself, our golf team will be happy to assist with any queries you may have.
